Teton Village, WY is arguably one of the most beautiful places in the world.  It surrounds the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resortand is one of the best vacation spots in the country.  As with all mountainous towns the weather varies widely from season to season and warm summers give way, each year, to cold winters.  This makes the area ideal for vacationers because you can ski in December and hike and swim in July. 

If you visit in the summer you should definitely check out Teton County Fair which is held in the hot month of July.  There are carnival rides, pig wrestling, a rodeo and much more.  This is a wonderful family-friendly activity that your kids will love.  Other great summer activities include the drive in movie theatre, hiking, swimming and nature watching.

However, if you visit in the winter then snow sports are probably on your mind and there are plenty of those. You can go snowshoeing, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, snowmobiling or even take a horse drawn sleigh ride through the snow.  There is pretty much NOTHING snow-related you can’t do in this area in the winter.
