About Jackson Hole, WY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Jackson Hole, WY is a scenic and fun mountain town full of attractions and activities for all ages. The weather is like that of most mountain towns. It can vary greatly. You will also experience different temperatures and precipitation depending on your elevation. With an elevation at over 6,000 feet, it is a “hole” or valley in the surrounding mountains and is quite beautiful.
Jackson Hole is a 50 mile valley running North and South along the eastern edge of the Teton Mountain Range. This town got its unusual name from the fur trappers and explorers who discovered this valley in the 1800’s. One trapper named David E. Jackson, declared this area his favorite trapping ground and, soon after, the area was named after him. It is now, for the most part, a resort town. In the snowy and cold winters, there are many winter sports to get involved in and in the warmer summers you can escape the scalding heat of some of the other parts of the country as highs in Jackson Hole are usually somewhere in the 70’s or so.
If you are visiting with the family there is lots to do. Whether you visit in the cold of the winter, or the warmth of the summer, there is something for everyone. The Clubhouse, Jackson Hole’s children’s museum is a must-see for any family visiting the area. You can also visit the drive-in, the rodeo or The County Fair (held in July) along with much more! This is truly a family-friendly resort town with a lot to offer.
