About Etna, WY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Etna is a tiny, rural mountain “Census Designated Place” (CDP) at the base of the Teton Mountain Range. The climate in this area is similar to most mountainous towns. It is warm in the summer when people enjoy fishing, boating and hiking and cold in the winter when you will find residents and tourists skiing, snowboarding and more. Etna, itself, is not a bustling area but is not far from some really wonderful activities. It is a great place to escape the busy tourism of towns like Jackson Hole and Teton Village.
In the surrounding areas you will find a wide variety of activities for both summer and winter. If you visit in the summer you should definitely check out the Teton County Fair and the Alpine Mountain Days in neighboring towns. You should also consider simply nature watching or perhaps photography as there is much to see and photograph in this idyllic setting.
In the cold, winter months there are, of course, innumerable snow sports to try out. You can try snowshoeing, snowboarding or skiing in the surrounding mountains. You can even take a horse drawn sleigh ride in nearby Jackson Hole. If you are new to the area, snow sports in general, or just need guidance and support there are many guided tours, classes and other organized activities in which to participate.
